This is one of my favorite all time Holiday movies not to mention favorite movies from the 90's. Holly Hunter is so relatable as the slightly quirky mother of teen Clair Dames, who has just lost her job and awkwardly kissed her boss who fired her! I adore watching her navigate the complex but hilarious makeup a dysfunctionally functioning family. This movie touches on all the things that make a great holiday classic; family hilarity that includes some uncomfortable fighting,  a little complex misunderstanding of ones sexuality, motivation or intent, some teen angst and most importantly the big pay off of romance. I'll be watching it with my own crazy family! Happy Holidays to you all, whatever your family make up is! XO

The mastermind and creative force behind the Biba Girl...Barbara Hulanicky is our current obsession. She was born in 1937 in Warsaw and to this day is still going strong as a style Icon. The Biba Department Store is of course her biggest achievement and the one she is most known for, but she continues to do interior design in Miami, where she currently resides,  as well as fashionista projects, such as creating a special line for the British Top shop. She is a BellJar Babe through and through and when we grow up we hope to have her taste and style!
