Hecho / Burnished Cereal Bowl
Hechos artisan partners have been working with wool for generations. Their home workshop in Southern Mexico offers the family space to collaborate on wool pieces that are made on back-strap and standing loom, as well as knitting, crochet and woodwork.
The lovely sheen is the result of an intense burnishing process with quartz stones that’s done before the traditional pit fire process – they’re not glazed. Not only are they beautiful, they’re lead-free and food safe.
