Aether was a classical element- it was thought to permeate all the empty space in the universe and explain the mysteries of the unknown. Ancient Greeks believed that aether was the god of light and the fifth element of the universe.

The Aether ring was first carved in wax and cast in brass or gold and set with a 5mm opal. This item is made to order and may take two weeks to ship. Metal (14k, sterling silver, gold plate) and sizing (size 4-11) can be customized, send us an email.

Please note, our brass is a mixture of 75% copper and 25% zinc and is lead and nickel free. Many people experience green discoloring on their skin from brass. This is due to the metals mixing with your particular oils and ph levels. This coloration is harmless and will wash off. To prevent this, you can periodically paint the inside of your brass ring with clear nail polish or lacquer, avoid mixing with moisture and sweat, and and taking off before going to bed or applying lotions or oils.
