Hecho was created by a  group of 12 women artisans who collaborated on a range of products – baskets, bags, home wares, hand woven and embroidered textiles and more. The group formed in 1988 as a means to source and share ideas, and effectively support the women in their small community in Mexico.

Care
Wipe with a damp cloth, warm water and mild soap to clean. While a little water won’t hurt this piece, it should not be left damp for long periods, or a musty scent may occur. When the basket is not in use, store it inside, rather than outside, in order to protect the handmade finishes. The leather strap should be sprayed with weather protector to keep the piece from staining with exposure to water.
